Barral Institute NZ: Neural Manipulation: Neuromeningeal Manipulation (NM1) **FULL**

Neural Manipulation: Neuromeningeal Manipulation (NM1) – Prerequisite – Open to health professionals

10th – 12th April 2021, Central City, Christchurch

This three day NM1 course focuses on the effects of trauma on the connective tissues that surround and support the nervous system: the neuro meninges. The dural layers surrounding the brain and spinal cord make up a reciprocal tension membrane system, and sometime a patient complaint is not in the same location as the area of fixation. Students will learn key assessment skills to determine whether a person’s main tension is in the spinal dura, the cranial dura, the neurocranium, the visceral cranium or the cranial facial junction. This is an invaluable class for practitioners who treat the effects of collisional forces on the body, particularly whiplash.

Taught by Canadian Instructor Annabel MacKenzie.

Course cost - early bird rate $860 NZ close 30/1/2021
