Waikato District Health Board (DHB) has a number of exciting opportunities for Physiotherapists looking for work in New Zealand. We have both rotational and static positions across our in-patient, outpatient and rural and community services both at Waikato hospital and within the surrounding Waikato region.
We have an exciting and dynamic Physiotherapy department offering opportunities to further develop your Physiotherapy skills and work in a variety of great teams. There's lots of opportunity for professional development through in-service training, allied health service days, as well as internal courses and external courses where appropriate. Regular clinical and professional supervision is on offer.

The Hamilton and Waikato region is in the north island of New Zealand. It is a geographically and culturally diverse region which offers a range of activities and attractions to suit all ages and tastes. Due to its central location it is the perfect base to allow travel and exploration of the surrounding areas in the North Island.
Eligible candidates will need;
- New Zealand registration as a Physiotherapist (or at least have started the process with the NZ Physiotherapy board).
- Be eligible to apply for an annual practicing certificate.
- Be eligible to apply for a New Zealand work/resident visa or citizenship.
- Have a full driver's license.
