2019 PNZ AGM Notices, Nominations and Voting

PNZ Annual General Meeting

The 2019 PNZ Annual General Meeting was held at the Business Symposium, on 1 November 2019 at Jet Park Hotel, 63 Westney Road, Mangere, Auckland. The AGM was scheduled for 4.15pm.

PNZ Executive Vote

PNZ members had the opportunity to vote for PNZ Executive vacancies, leading up to the 2019 PNZ Annual General Meeting. There were three PNZ Executive vacancies to be filled, one of which was a designated Māori seat (endorsed by Tae Ora Tinana).

The vote occurred by electronic ballot, as defined in the PNZ Rules, with members receiving an email from electionz.com inviting them to vote. Voting opened on 7 October and closed at midday 21 October.

It was announced at the 2019 PNZ Annual General Meeting that Grant Chittock, Kurt Thomas and Keistin Woodman were elected onto the PNZ Executive. Grant and Kurt were re-elected and Keistin is PNZ's designated Māori Executive member.

    PNZ Executive Nominees

    Following a great response to the call for nominations there were 13 PNZ Executive nominees, voted on before the 2019 PNZ Annual General Meeting on 1 November. Thank you to the skilled and engaged members put forward for the Executive. Please read about the nominees below (in alphabetical order by surname). PNZ Office also received one Tae Ora Tinana endorsed nomination for the designated PNZ Executive Māori seat.


    Nominations and Submissions

    Nominations for Life Members and Honorary Fellow Members closed on 31 July, PNZ Executive nominations closed on 30 August and the submission of items for the AGM Agenda / Notices of Motion closed on 30 September 2019.
