Members enthusiastically support the Hawke's Bay Branch evening talks and courses. The Branch has 129 members (March 2019).

Middle Districts

The Middle Districts Branch covers an area from Taranaki to Palmerston North. Active subbranches in Wanganui, Palmerston North and New Plymouth provide accessible education evenings. There are 196 members (March 2019).

Middle Districts is looking for new committee members based in Palmerston North, Whanganui and New Plymouth. As a committee member you will help set the continuing education calendar each year and organise the events. You will be supported by the PNZ national office. The committee normally meets once a year in person and the rest of the year via online meetings. PNZ also holds two meetings each year which they pay for a committee member to attend in Wellington.

Nelson / Marlborough

The Nelson/Marlborough Branch actively supports members' ongoing education through symposia and courses. The Branch has 110 members (March 2019).

North Shore

The North Shore Branch strives to provide a topical and entertaining programme of ongoing education. There are 251 members (March 2019).

All Branch meetings are at the AUT Millennium Institute, Antares Place, Mairangi Bay, Room SA213. Look for the posters directing you up the stairs just before the reception desk. Come along at 7pm to meet with other branch members before the meeting begins at 7.30.

The Northland Branch focuses on training opportunities for members and improving collaboration with other health and social services groups. The Branch has 114 members (March 2019), and overs a wide geographic area.

The Otago Branch benefits from having the Otago University School of Physiotherapy in its midst, with the expertise of the academic staff and the vitality of the students. There are 313 members (March 2019).

Waikato/Bay of Plenty

The Waikato Bay of Plenty Branch holds clinical in-service programmes at Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupo, Whakatane and Te Aroha - as well as full meetings in the larger centres. The Branch has 518 members (March 2019).

The Wellington Branch uses awards to promote quality research, community service by students based in the Wellington area, and clinical supervision of students. There are 385 members (March 2019).
