Train to be a Pilates teacher
Hearts and Bones Pilates can provide you with a well-recognised Pilates qualification.
Our instructor training teaches Classic Pilates, but with a contemporary approach.
Our aim is to help you hone your skills, develop your own voice and style, and become the best Pilates instructor you can be.
Our educational programmes are based on our Essentially Pilates Movement Principles that support the way the body moves.
These principles incorporate the most up-to-date biomechanical theories of movement and exercise science.
Understanding these principles creates a dynamic learning experience. You'll be able to apply this knowledge to your practice immediately.
We respect the traditions of Joseph H. Pilates’ original method. But we also incorporate the best of contemporary scientific research. Our students learn:
• the Classic Pilates exercises
• best-practice teaching tools
• contraindications to movements
• how to use the exercises to best meet clients individual needs.
We have many options for Pilates teacher training including: Mat, Reformer, Other equipment, Comprehensive, Group Reformer, Bridge programme, Advanced and Masters programmes.
Check out our training timetable or workshop schedule at www.heartsandbones.co.nz to find a course or workshop that will inspire you.
