NZMPA COMT W2 The Shoulder (AKL)

COMT Weekend 2: The Shoulder - 11 + 12 May 2024

Venue: Room AA119, AUT North Campus, Akoranga Drive, Northcote, Auckland.

Time: Saturday 8:30am Registration for 9am - 5pm. Sunday 9am - 4pm.

This weekend covers the assessment, diagnosis and management of shoulder conditions. It includes the clinical diagnosis and indications for the use of diagnostic imaging investigations for stiff shoulders, shoulder instability, rotator cuff and acromioclavicular joint conditions. Evidence-informed management for specific conditions is covered including manual therapy techniques, rehabilitation, the use of corticosteroid injections and surgical referral indications. This course will be delivered in a hybrid* format with online pre-course work covering the necessary theoretical knowledge. The in-person weekend course will cover the practical content including case studies to consolidate your learning.

*This will require a subscription to a third party application that you will be able to purchase through PNZ. The administrator will be in contact with you to arrange this.

COMT is available to NZMPA members only. The course Rate is $600.00 incl GST per course.

Booking four or more courses at one time? NZMPA offer a multi-course rate for participants undertaking four or more courses (in the calendar year) of $515.00 incl GST per course. These courses will need to be booked and paid for in advance. Note that any cancellations of the multi-course bookings will result in requiring the difference of each course to be paid.
