Pippa: The theory and values underpinning research.

    Webinar details:

    Debbie will provide feedback from Carina Saricusa’s paediatric bladder & bowel function course. Describe how this learning as well as knowledge gained from Dawn Sandalcidi, Lisa Smith, and Mandy Roscher is influencing her work in a specialist school.

    Pippa will be feeding back on her post graduate module ‘Research Design & Methods’.

    Presenter Bio’s:

    Debbie is a physiotherapist who is passionate about partnering with individuals with disabilities and their whānau in working towards real life success. She has worked in specialist education Child development services, complex wheelchair and seating, and hospice as a physiotherapist. Her current role is as the therapy team leader in the senior leadership team at a specialist school in Auckland. She has a special interest in bridging the knowledge gaps between health professionals and educators partnering in the specialist education sector.

    Pippa is an advanced clinician physiotherapist at the National Child Rehabilitation Service. She loves working with families in a participation-based model to achieve the best possible outcomes for rehabilitation. She is currently completing her diploma in Neurological Rehabilitation and is feeding back her learning from one of her modules, Research Design Methods.
