About the Mahi (Role)

Due to the growth of our Wellington CBD clinic, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team.

You will have an interest in musculoskeletal injury rehab and sports injury and be passionate about working within an integrated rehabilitation team.

The key tasks will include patient assessments and treatments, administration and reporting, liaison with colleagues, funders, and employers, and team meetings and training.

You must embrace a collaborative approach to patient care by working closely with an integrated team.

You will uphold our commitment to delivering excellent rehabilitation services with a patient-centric focus and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients through comprehensive and compassionate care.

In this role, you will receive extensive training and/or mentoring depending on your experience level and will be supported by the Clinic Manager.

This role is full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday role. The work is diverse and rewarding and we can allow you to play to your strengths.

About the Wellington CBD Team

We are a well-developed and experienced team that includes psychologists, physiotherapists, hand therapists, and a team of vocational therapists. We have built strong connections with pain specialists and orthopaedic specialists within the area who work closely with the team on a case-by-case basis.

You will be part of a team that has achieved some great things in the equity space. We continue to increase the cultural capability of the team and build new networks in the community with Māori health providers and local iwi.

Our clinic is situated in a great location, we are centrally located facing Wellington's beautiful waterfront. Our team culture is fun, and friendly and we have regular social events. We are based in a vibrant and multicultural city with excellent public transport connections, and fantastic cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops.


About You

This is a clinical role; therefore, you must have a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy.

The successful candidate will have an interest in musculoskeletal injury rehab and sports injury.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a great attitude and shares our vision and values.
