Are you interested in contributing to your profession using your advanced academic skills and knowledge?
We are looking for a physiotherapist to take on the role of Associate Editor for the New Zealand Journal of Physiotherapy (NZJP), and invite PNZ members who have research experience with a track record of publications to apply. Experience applying tikanga Māori in either an education or health environment would be valuable.
The New Zealand Journal of Physiotherapy (NZJP) was founded in 1938. The Journal’s Mission Statement is:
“The New Zealand Journal of Physiotherapy is the official academic journal of Physiotherapy New Zealand. The Honorary Editorial Committee aims to publish original quantitative and qualitative research that advances physiotherapy science and practice. The Journal invites authors to contribute papers for peer review under the following categories: research reports, scholarly paper (clinical and professional perspectives), literature reviews, case studies, study protocols, clinical commentaries, and clinically applicable papers.”
The purpose of the Journal is to:
- Serve the members of Physiotherapy New Zealand (PNZ) by publishing content that reflects excellence in research, and professional issues relevant to New Zealand and the international physiotherapy communities; and
- Encourage and support emerging New Zealand researchers to publish.
