2023 PNZ Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2023 PNZ AGM held at 4pm on 10 November, both online and at the Due Drop Events Centre in Manukau.
2023 PNZ AGM Meeting Pack
The AGM Meeting Pack is avialable below, including the 2023 AGM Agenda, PNZ AGM Meeting Protocols, Ratified 2022 AGM Minutes and 2023 Report Against Strategic Plan, as well as the PNZ Annual Report 2023. There was no submission of items for the 2023 PNZ AGM Agenda / Notices of Motion, which closed at midday on 11 October 2023.
PNZ Executive Vote
Members had the opportunity to vote for two PNZ Executive vacancies leading up to the AGM, one of which was the PNZ President. Having received two nominations for each vacancy, we were pleased to announce Kirsten Davie as the PNZ President and Lilo Oka Sanerivi as your PNZ Executive member.
With Mark Quinn returning as a PNZ Executive member, after serving a one-year term as PNZ President to fill a casual vacancy, profiles of your full PNZ Executive are available here including:

Thank you to all nominees in this year’s election. Thanks also to Kelly Davison for her significant contribution to PNZ, having been elected to the PNZ Executive in 2020 and her term ending this year.
As the national membership organisation for physiotherapists, PNZ provides advocacy, education, information, and services to benefit over 4,500 members and the wider profession. The PNZ Executive are responsible for guiding the strategic direction of PNZ, shaping how value is delivered to members and the organisation’s future direction.
The PNZ Executive are tasked with evaluating issues and presenting a perspective on behalf of members, as well as representing PNZ and advocating on its behalf. The President represents PNZ externally as the head of PNZ and is the face of PNZ to the public.

PNZ Awards
Two Life Membership and One Honorary Fellow Awards were also announced at the AGM. Profiles of these highly esteemed and respected award winners are available below.
Congratulations to Gaela Kilgour and Sarah Candy on receiving PNZ Life Membership for their contribution to PNZ, the physiotherapy profession and/or public health.
Professor Leigh Hale was also the much deserving recipient of PNZ Honorary Fellow Membership, the highest award bestowed by PNZ, awarded for advancement of the physiotherapy profession and/or contributions to health and wellbeing nationally or internationally.
